TOURING MOTOR GLIDERS ____________________

These are my favourite TMG:s. Without exaggerating, I claim they are the safest, cheapest and most environmental-friendly aeroplanes that exist. You can keep a PPL on flying them for half the prize of flying a Cessna, and the engine can be switched off just to soar with its great wingspan.

Some blackbirds call the motorglider a bad compromise compared to the performance of gliders and power of ordinary single engine propeller planes. May the price, the safety concerns and the Stemme S10 convince the doubtful of the opposite!
The S10 is not a compromise, it leads the 3rd generation of gliders and cruises at 250 kmh and can switch off (the retractable propeller folds in its nose) and glide at 1:50 for over 2400 km.

Europa TMG is authorized for aerobatics and can have it´s wings removed in case of a small hangar.

Grob is a nice aircraft both to fly and to groundhandle. It is being used for the flight training of the Royal Air Force "Air Cadets".

The Super Dimona has got nice flying characteristics. It can be used to tow gliders.
